Graduate Certificate, Graduate Diploma, Masters by Coursework or Masters by Research

Do you require introduction to, development of, or accreditation in, using simulation in health professional clinical education?

Are you a clinical teacher & interested in developing a better health workforce?

Are you interested in learning different methods of giving constructive feedback to students?

Our programme is designed especially for clinicians who are involved in teaching (or supervising other clinical teachers). This articulated suite of courses aims to provide health professionals with advanced knowledge and skills to deliver quality education in health service settings. Clinical education is characterised by a symbiotic relationship between the learner, an experienced clinical educator and the health service.
These courses are a cornerstone for developing and retaining a well trained and supervised clinician workforce through skilled clinical educators who are committed to excellence in professional development. They are specifically designed for health professionals involved in professional development, mentoring or clinical education at undergraduate and postgraduate programs in medicine, nursing and allied health without formal qualifications in education. The topics are totally on-line using the web based learning model so that if you are juggling a busy life you can work at your own pace in your own time with an additional option to attend short workshops based in Adelaide for some of the topics, lasting up to two days.

Two of our topics are especially for clinicians involved in Simulation:
HLED9109 Advanced Clinical Skills Teaching & Standardised Patients and
HLED9111 Simulation in Clinical Education
